This white jersey worn by team Captain T.J. Reinsch, was used
during the
86-87 PeeWee A travel season.
The Team won the Midwest League Tournament and advanced to the
Central District Tier II tournament in St. Louis.
The local Pepsi bottler sponsored the trip. Pepsi crest, shoulder patches and
back advertising were added before the team left for St. Louis.

This green jersey with the Pepsi logo on it was used in the latter part of the
86-87 PeeWee A travel season. Worn by Cody Delperdang.
Only one white set was used during the season. The Team won the Midwest League
tournament and advanced to the
Central District Tier II tournament in St. Louis. Tournament rules said that
teams had to have two sets of jerseys, so these
green ones were ordered, logoed and numbered at the last minute.

Champions Sioux City Metros
Beau played three season as a Metro. He won a IHSHL State
Championship in 2003 and also represent Sioux City in the IHSHL All-Star game
and as a member of the IHSHL All League team. In 2004 he again was honored with
selections to the IHSHL All Star game, All League Team and
All State selection for the Chicago Showcase. A pair of seasons on the NAHL and
USHL Beau attended UCONN for three seasons. During that
time he collected many honors such as conference rookie player of the week,
conference player of the week and conference player of the month.
He also holds the UCONN record for saves in a single season with 947 and was
also Alternate Captain during his final season (2008-09).

Kevin played three seasons for the Metros. He
collected his first IHSHL Championship during his sophomore season with the game
winning goal
in triple overtime to beat the Des Moines Oak Leafs. He would eventually collect

and three time Metros leading scorer. Along with two Chicago Showcase and
two All Star game appearances, he also received the IHSHL academic
award all three seasons. Kevin also played several games for the
Musketeers during his senior season before he became a two season veteran
of the Musketeers (USHL). He is currently a member of the Princeton Tigers
(NCAA) hockey team.

This would be the first time Sioux City would be represented in the nation wide
showcase tournament
Brian and T.J. would return the following year (1991) to the Showcase along with
fellow Metro players Dan Davies and Chris Sorum.
Three Musketeers

Cory, Trent & Brant Mozak

Brant was a Metros player for two seasons (97-98 / 98-99)
in which both seasons Sioux City took home State Championship honors.
He moved to Colorado to play for the Pikes Peak Miners-USA Hockey's AAA
Tier 1 Major Midget team.
Based in Colorado Springs it is also the home of USA Hockey and its USA Olympic
training facility. He was team Captain for his senior season.

Pictured here is Joel Kempter during his first season
(2000-01) as a Sioux City Metro. Two seasons later, as Captain, he would help
lead the
Metros to their first state title of the decade. A win over the Des Moines Oak
Leafs.
