The Sioux City Attack's first season was in 2000 and
entered the Indoor Football League (IFL).
It's huge success prompted the sale of the Attack to a larger market at the
completion of the season
Indoor football was not through however, and thanks to several local Sioux
City businessmen...
The Sioux City Bandits started play the
next season in 2001.
They would play as part of the newly formed National Indoor Football
League (NIFL).
In 2004 that league would change identity and become the
United Football League (UFL)
