I am always interested in adding new Musketeer and USHL jerseys to my collection, especially any different

Bubba joined the Musketeers for three seasons (73-76). In the late 60's, he was considered a select Canadian player in the youth levels
and garnered lots of attention being pegged as some of the best young players Quebec had to offer. Before he turned 18, he already has a
pair of seasons under his belt playing for the Montreal Junior Canadians; playing 125 games and scoring 40 goals and 50 assists.  At 18,
he joined the Ottawa 67's  for the 72-73 season and played in 53 games scoring nine goals and 16 assists.

A new opportunity to get to the States arrived in the new expansion team in Sioux City; only a year old-member of the well established
USHL Senior Professional League the Musketeers had made a respectable showing their first season and were deemed a worthy organization.
Bubba's experience would pay-off, playing in 42 games he scored 20 goals, 23 assists and finished as a top five high scorer.

It was more of the same the next season (74-75), with Bubba finishing as a top three scorer netting 33 goals and 31 assists. The 75-76 season
saw a slow down of his scoring production but he continued to bring leadership and experience to the Musketeers. While individually he scored
17 goals and12 assists the Musketeers would mark this season as their first major successful season capturing the Southern Division Championship
and falling a few goals short of winning the USHL championship.

Over his three season in Sioux City Bubba would claim several awards, Rookie of the Year & Most Popular Players as well as a selection to the
USHL All-Star Team. Always a fan favorites he will surely make the list of most memorable Musketeers.
Sadly, Bubba passed away in 1998, he was only 44 years old.

1987 All-USHL 1st Team
USHL 2nd Leading Scorer 67/38/105 (48 Game Schedule)
USHL Single Season Record Scorer with 67 goals (48 Game Season)
USHL Single Season Power Play Scorer with 24 goals (48 Game Season)

This jersey by Rod Taylor during the 86-87 season. Two color tackle twill numbers & three color tackle twill crest.
Very heavy jersey.  NNOB. Manufacturer tagging sewn in collar and screened on hem "Sindy's" of Cleveland, OH. Size L.

Rod Taylor played a pair of USHL seasons (83-85) for the Waterloo Blackhawks. His first season stats are vague, but his second
season there saw him post 54 goals, 29 assists for 83 total points in just 46 games played. Why trade away a top scorer who
collects nearly 2 points per game?!?! All that matters is they did!!!

The next season Rod became a Musketeer; 86-87 season was going to be one for the Musketeer and USHL record
books. By the time the season ended he had finished the season as the League's second highest scorer with 105 points.
His 67 goals and 24 Power Play goals would both become league records that still stand today. This was all
accomplished in, what was then, a regular season length of 48 games. Rod would be selected the USHL 1st Team and also
the Musketeers Most Valuable Player.

After playing hockey at Ferris State University for four seasons it was on to the pros for Rod. Joining the East Coast League he
found a home in Norfolk, Virginia. Playing for the Hampton Roads Admirals for ten seasons. Holding on to his scoring prowess and
with the exception of his first season, he never was less that a top five team scorer, during the 93-94 season he lead the team with
54 goals and 34 assists, twice he was the second leading scorer. He scored over 30 goals per season for eight seasons.

Rod's name is all over the Admirals record book as well, topping the charts in games played, goals scored, total points and even in
total penalty minutes. He is also the ECHL's top goal scorer and second in total points.

Rod would play two more seasons for the Richmond Renegades (ECHL) The first season he would lead the team in goals and finish
as a top three scorer but 18 seasons of hockey was starting to take it toll. After a slow start he would split the season between
Richmond and Roanoke. He would play his final season 2002-03 scoring eight goals and ten assists for the South Carolina Stingrays.

Here's the rest of the story...

...on Saturday, February 25th, 2006, 7143 people filled the Richmond Coliseum to  watched the Richmond Riverdogs play the
Roanoke Express. In a 4-1 victory the Riverdogs defeated the Express. Scoring two of the 'Dogs four goals, back three years
after retirement, for one night only was...Rod Taylor!!!

Did You know...in 2009 Rod was inducted into the ECHL Hall of Fame

This one was worn during the 1998-99 season by Ruslan Fedotenko. These gray uniforms left many in doubt if these were light-dark (away) jerseys
or dark-light (home) jerseys...this confusion only lasted one season. Embroidered crest & secondary logo patches on both shoulders. Three
color numbers and single color attached nameplate. Sewn-on USHL crest on great "Dazzle" material. Manufacturer tagging in collar and
embroidered on hem. Made by Gemini (tag on hem). Size tag is unreadable.

Ruslan played a season in Canada before arriving in Sioux City for the 1998-99 season. Setting the pace in scoring he would lead the
Musketeers with 43 goals and 34 assists. He would also take a spot on the Heavy Hitter list recording a second-highest 139 penalty
minutes. He would receive a pair of Player of the Week awards, several 1st Star Awards, be selected as the Musketeers Most
Valuable Player as well as earning a spot in the USHL All Star game and a top billing on the All USHL Team.

After a season playing in the AHL for the Philadelphia Phantoms, the Flyers would like what the saw and Ruslan would embark on a
17 plus season of professional hockey. 15 of those were spent in the NHL; during that time he would collect two Stanley Cup Rings, one
with the Tampa Bay Lighting and the other with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

to these game jerseys and why the name were removed remains a mystery.  White letters sewn-on black nameplate. Ryan Geris would

36 year history when in 1980 the league transitioned from a Senior Professional to an armature Junior league
*  This new logo will incorporate elements of logos past; the seven stripes representing the seven USHL original teams,
the proportional star representing the rising fortunes of the league's players, coaches and officials.
*  The overall stars & stripes theme representing the USHL's distinction of being the nation's only Junior A Tier 1 League

*  These new USHL crests will be worn on all three regular season jerseys & screened on BCA and Military Night jerseys

*This season the Musketeers will again wear five different game jerseys. There will be the regular season jerseys, an
